Mystery of the Empty House - Narrative Writing

WALHT plan and write a Narrative.

Success Criteria: we will be successful when we have

• setting
• plot - problem & solution
• interesting vocabulary

Title:  The Mystery of the Empty House
Characters:	yourself, aliens, scientist, doll, ballerina
Setting:	the tree house, woods, rocking chair, scary basement
Plot - Problem: House empty, furniture gone or disappeared, no one at home, abandoned, trying to escape	Solution: Get furniture back, building a time machine, time travel, fighting the aliens and doll, helpful scientist, solve the mystery.

The Mystery of the Empty House

Bleary-eyed, I went downstairs for breakfast, the house was

empty,even the furniture had disappeared !! Every step I took, the stairs creaked under my weight! It was an eerie sound.

I was wondering around the house like a ghost. Next minute I saw my reflection in the mirror with an ALIEN by the door!!I was so terrified that I stood still for a minute. Then I burst out the door running and screaming as loud as a howler monkey and  fast like the wind, until I just had to stop.

Luckily I lost them! But then I heard someone humming and

I followed the sound,and it was a live doll rocking on a chair!!! It saw me by the door and it started to sing another tune that was really creepy. I shut the door so it couldn’t get me.

I wondered off to the basement and saw this scientist surrounded by aliens.He asked me if I could help him,

and since I lost the aliens and locked the live doll in one of the rooms, I went for it and helped him. Lucky we won the fight

that time.

The Scientist and I tried to workout a plan to escape, but aliens were surrounding the basement which meant we couldn’t escape.So the scientist and I made a ballerina robot and it looked fabulous.We used it to help distract the aliens by using its  beauty!

We unlocked the door and  went outside into the woods,

and found a mysterious tree house,so we went inside

and both had a rest for a while. Then after a about

5 minutes we saw a group of aliens,building spaceships

and planning invasions.

The scientist and I made a time-machine and traveled back in time about 5 hours [which was before all this danger started]The furniture was back, no aliens, no live doll, no scientist.]

I packed all my stuff and moved somewhere else.Then

everything was back to normal and there were no more

problems.
